Parkinson's Disease

What about Parkinson

Parkinson's disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease in the world.  It is estimated that 7 to 10 million people worldwide are affected, this figure is expected to increase considerably in the coming years as he population ages. For the majority of patients, the disease is diagnosed around the age of 60. However, it can also occur much earlier in life, especially in hereditary forms: 10% of patients  are affected before the age of 40. Generally, Parkinson's disease is slightly more common in men than in women.

Me & Parkinson

Feel free to contact me if you need occupational therapy at home for a person with Parkinson's disease.  In 2018, I followed the first basic training in Luxemburg given by our colleagues from ParkinsonNet in the Netherlands.

I continued with the "train the trainer" training.

Since 2019 i am the occupational trainer for ParkinsonNet in Luxembourg.

Together with my colleagues at ParkinsonNet Luxembourg, I work to ensure that every person affected by Parkinson's disease receives the best possible care and quality of life.
